We talked about the installation in Kazakhstan of the sixth shrine worldwide dedicated to Persecuted Christians. The world's first shrine is located at St. Michael's Church in Manhattan. It features an icon of Our Lady of Aradin (Eden), depicted as a traditional Iraqi bride, created by Mouthana Butres, an Iraqi Christian iconographer and refugee. This shrine was dedicated in 2018. We also spoke about the overall lackluster response of church leaders to the global crisis of persecuted Christians.
