Rep. Tony Wied: SAFE Cities Act will deter repeat of Los Angeles riots

Representative Tony Wied (R-WI) says the Stop Anarchists from Endangering (SAFE) Cities Act would codify President Donald Trump’s memorandum that limits federal funding to states or cities that allow anarchy or destructive riots. “That’s what we need to do from a federal government perspective when you have these radical ideas, these mayors and these governors that are just pandering to violent extremists and playing politics rather than doing their job,” he says.
