Filmmaker explains the idea behind documentary 'The Last Journey'

An attempt to help Swedish TV host and filmmaker Filip Hammar's retired and dispirited father regain his spark for life turned into an eventful trip down memory lane, that then resulted in a hit documentary film, "The Last Journey." "It was not supposed to be a film. I just had this idea," Hammar said. "We wanted him to re-experience the best moments of his life," said co-director Fredrik Wikingsson.
