This is my first oil painting since my college days. It was also my biggest painting at that time (24" x 36"). This painting was inspired by my father's suggestion that I take a different take on a graphite drawing I did of a "veggie pileup" that I did in college that my father took a shine to. The name is an ode to our internal dialogue about how my husband (my model for this painting) cannot be left alone at home for fear he'll get into trouble. This video is my video progression of the painting. I had hoped to make people laugh when they look at this painting- because of the silliness of the precariousness of the vegetables and coffee cup toppling over. It did win the Patron's Choice Award at the Creative Arts Guild in 2024 Arts Festival in Dalton, GA
