Intel ARC B580 Founders Edition review and thoughts - dont buy it!

We all hoped that Intel would be the saviour of budget gaming in 2024 and 2025, If we were to believe the marketing and hype that Tom and Steve showed us, there was some great architecture and design in the B580 and on paper it looks like a contender.
192 bit bus PCIe Gen4 X 8 lanes, single 8 pin power, low TDP and 12GB of VRAM, it seemed to be a market busting product with an MSRP of about £260!
The reality is that for a long time the MSRP's where jacked up and the drivers and performance wasn't any better than the older A770 card.
For me with an Intel Core 245K on a Z890 chipset, it could be said that the platform should be right on point for some really thrilling performance, the truth though is that is feels weak, has very inconsistent frametimes and framerates, and you would likely be better off buying an old used RTX3060TI or similar.
I am somewhat disappointed with this card, but hopefully the drivers and optimisation can turn this around, but will it be to late for the Intel ARC team?
