Walter and Lao Russell expressed in the following quote from their 3rd Edition Home Study Course;

“Metaphysicists and metaphysical books have for years been saying: “Get into the high vibrations of the Spirit, and out of the low vibrations of matter,” and “It is only in your Consciousness so it is not real,” not knowing that the Light of Consciousness is the only reality. There are NO vibrations whatsoever to the spirit.

The Light of the Spirit is absolutely motionless, while the vibrations of matter increase with density and decrease as they approach the stillness of space. Such teachings are very confusing when one says in one breath, “Seek the high vibrations of the Spirit,” and in the next breath, “Be still and know.”
