After previously appearing in Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Dubai—where he handed her a letter and left her in tears mid-match—he tried to secure tickets through Wimbledon’s public ballot.

Though initially rejected, his name remained in the system for resales. Following the Dubai incident, Wimbledon officials conducted a thorough sweep and eliminated his application. The All England Club, in coordination with law enforcement and global tennis organizations, reaffirmed their commitment to athlete safety.

Raducanu later shared how emotionally traumatic the encounter was, stating she could barely breathe or see the ball during a match in Indian Wells. The case has sparked fresh concerns over the protection of high-profile female athletes.
