“You can see mass formation psychosis throughout history in political ideologies from far left to far right, such as Communist, Fascist, and totalitarian regimes that have resulted in the murder of millions of people.

All the while, masses of people supporting these regimes were hypnotized automatons carrying out and supporting the agenda.

Keep in mind that they never felt they were supporting or engaging in evil acts. They believed they were on the good side, often fueled by self-righteousness and moral superiority, as well as virtue signaling, and always projecting an evil image onto the “other side.” At the same time, they felt morally justified, better, and “innocent.”
