It's been way too long -- fourteen years! -- since Rob Kroese has been on the channel, so let's make up for lost time with a look at his new Kickstarter campaign for the space opera RANSOM'S LAW, which will consist of five books in a series about a former corporate lawyer who's been sentenced to indentured servitude and now repossesses starships for the galaxy's biggest bank. Rob promises dry wit, tight plotting, and fast-paced action.

We'll also talk about the origins of BasedCon and Upstream Reviews, two endeavors Rob was instrumental in creating (the latter along with Declan Finn).
