On This Day: Met Éireann’s Landmark Glasnevin HQ Opened

Forty-five years ago today, on 19 June 1980, Met Éireann officially opened its new headquarters in Glasnevin, Dublin. The state-of-the-art facility was unveiled by then Minister for Transport, Albert Reynolds.
