I wonder if “The Love Boat” that cleverly disguised promotional TV series for the cruise line industry is in syndication anywhere. The format was groundbreaking. The series ran from 1977 to 1986. I enlisted in 1979, so I missed most of the series. Fantasy Island was the same show, basically which also began in 1977. THEY always do this.

Today’s blog isn’t about these shows, but the formats. It was the late 1970s when TV started giving us three stories developing concurrently within an hour of Mesmerizing, emotionally stirring Boomer quasi-amorality. The episodes ebbed and flowed like a Bollywood movie. But anyway.

The reason We’re bringing this up is because We have a similar format going on within a single trip to Chicago. First of all, sore back. It’s just a little less than painful to move. Next, late train. Not a few minutes but a few hours. Finally… well, how about We don’t spoil it for you. It’s all pretty much in today’s journey.

Just a quick note. It’s another Moonday & despite all of the manufactured mayhem that’s unfolding in your black mirrors, the Trinity, Universe, Source et al, have the crew & passengers of our starship feeling very positive about the future. It might sound fake a forced when we present our monologues, but that’s because we’ve been attempting squeeze this abundance into a small space of time.

“Be not afraid, Rocky.” Let’s get into it.
