Welcome to album ranking Wednesdays here on the channel. Tonight I am ranking a very obscure underground Black/Funeral Doom Metal act from Nicosia Cyprus. That’s right folks tonight we are talking about DICTATOR. Now I own Dysangelist which his most recent release and I am still currently looking for “The Pain Sessions” and “Fog Of Death” if anyone knows where I can procure these 2 gems please leave a comment down below!
Alright so very little is known about the man behind the project, his first name is Alex but he always goes by his pseudonym which is Dictator.

Dictator formed in 2005, initially as an experimental project combining elements of Noise and Dark Ambient. Soon after his first release 'Fog of Death' (which is a series of excerpts from sessions which were planned to be part of a greater release entitled 'Claustrophobia') Dictator's musical style shifted towards Funeral Doom Metal with Black Metal influences.
Dictator calls his style of music "Suicidal Black Funeral Doom Metal" he has also been in various other bands some of which include the likes of Necrosadist, Satanic Supplica, Tome Of The Unreplenished and others. So the guy has been quite proactive. His most intriguing work of course in my opinion is his work in DICTATOR.
Alright so now that you have some background history on DICTATOR lets get into the video now shall we?
#3-Fog Of Death (Released in 2005 Independently on Cassette)
#2-The Pain Sessions (Released in 2006 independently on cassette which was limited to 8 copies and CD-R limited to 33 copies)
#1-Dysangelist (Released in 2008 on Serpene Heli Music limited to 200 copies on CD. Also it was released on pale horse recordings on cassette and also limited to 200 copies)
Alright guys so there you have it another album ranking in the books here on music of destruction!
As always I sincerely hope you enjoyed tonights video!
