The Wicker Man is a 1973 British folk horror film directed by Robin Hardy and starring Christopher Lee, Britt Ekland, Edward Woodward, Diane Cilento and Ingrid Pitt. The Wicker Man is the story of a police officer who visits an isolated Scottish island called Summerisle in search of a missing girl. Being a devout Christian, the police officer appalled to find that the people who live on the island have abandoned Christianity and now practice a form of Celtic Paganism.
