Join us in our the exploration of The Pyramid of Sahure and see how the Abusir Pyramid complex is transformed after a rare downpour, revealing hidden details and textures often obscured by the desert sun!

Witness an extremely rare rainfall in Egypt! See how the ancient, elaborate basin and conduit system embedded in the temple floor and causeway was NOT for rain as described in conventional archeology!

We return to the beautiful and enigmatic Abusir pyramid complex, dubbed as the “Resting Place of Osiris” and served as one of the main elite cemeteries for the ancient Egyptian capital city of Memphis.
We explore the pyramid temple and valley temple of the Pyramid of Sahure.
Our main objective for this expedition is to locate and examine conduit systems and basins that were documented in early excavations. Let’s GO!

(Part 1) We have a rare opportunity to explore a monument considered to be the largest and architecturally unique non-royal tomb of the Old Kingdom, belonging to the one of the most outstanding members of the Royal Courtyard, Ptahshepses
- the vizier and the son-in-law of Pharaoh of the V Dynasty Niuserra .
We will also have the privilege to investigate two incredibly precious and mysterious artefacts.
Our main objective for this expedition is to locate and examine conduit systems and basins that were documented in early excavations.

(Part 2)
We investigated the Eastern Temple Complex of Niuserra with the objective to locate a third conduit and possible basin that was recorded by Bordchart in his early excavation
We closely examined a remarkable a remarkable in-situ artefact!
We also explored the eastern temple complex of the Pyramid of Neferkare for the first time!
