Dan Holiday travels to the Philippines to retrieve an item left behind by a mysterious man.

Box 13 starred Alan Ladd as Dan Holiday, a newspaperman turned mystery novelist who placed an ad in the Star-Times that said "Adventure wanted, will go anywhere, do anything- write Box 13, Star-Times." The show follows his adventures as he responds to individual letters.
