Beauty and the Boomer After Dark is BACK, and we’re firing up the lasers for a night soaked in the sonic magic of Pink Floyd! Yes, that’s right: it’s an evening of Floydian celebration, cosmic contemplation, and audio wizardry. I’ve engineered some of the best covers this side of the Dark Side of the Moon, and I’m genuinely excited (and slightly terrified) to see what you all think.

In the immortal words of Ed Sullivan, dusted off and reverb-drenched for our purposes: "Tonight, we’re gonna have a reeeeeelly big shew!"

And what better soundtrack for our current timeline—where World War III is tap-dancing at the edge of reality and late-stage capitalism is speedrunning humanity into the abyss—than the band who practically invented musical existentialism? Their lyrics drip with metaphor, melancholy, and mild madness... so basically, just like the nightly news, but with better guitar solos.

If the Four Horsemen showed up to this party, even they’d say, “Dang, that’s a bit much.”
