Maajid Nawaz, explained that CBDCs are a potentially powerful tool for the state to control its citizens.
Nawaz revealed that legislators, including in the UK, have openly and freely discussed using such powers.
Among the G7 counties, Canada has recently shown its willingness to misuse financial powers as a means of controlling a segment of the population.
Other topics discussed included centralization and control by the elites, centralized digital currency vs decentralization and local autonomy where people have control.
Nawaz explained very clearly why we need decentralization in everything in our lives from money to food supply to forms of government, etc. so that we can live in a more free world. 👏🙏
