Many fathers I work with have trauma from angry fathers. The trauma haunts them well into adulthood and clouds their thoughts. It can also be passed down to their kids unless the father heals and rebuilds himself from the inside out.

Our kids will always do things that are annoying, inconvenient, don't make sense, destructive, messy, loud...etc. They are kids. They are experimenting. We did the same thing.

It's up to us how we respond to our kids living life. We can reign terror down on them or guide them with strength and stoicism.

We can be the wise guide or the uncontrolled tyrant.

The respected philosopher or the feared prison guard.

You can't control everything your kids do, but you can control yourself.
