Fabulous No Churn Vanilla Ice Cream & Vanilla Bean Ice Cream

Fabulous No Churn Vanilla Ice Cream can be made with Vanilla Extract or with the Vanilla Bean.
This recipe also makes a Fabulous Peach Ice Cream. Makes 6 Cups of Vanilla Ice Cream or 7 1/2 Cups Peach Ice Cream.

Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe
1/2 Cup (4 ounces or 120 ml) Cold Whole Milk
1 TBSP Vanilla Extract, or 1 Vanilla Bean sliced lengthwise*
1 14-ounce can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/8 Tsp Salt
2 Cups Very Cold Heavy Cream
Add whole milk and vanilla extract to a medium bowl. Stir in sweetened condensed milk and salt.
Beat Heavy Cream to stiff peaks. Fold in milk mixture. Pour into 9x5 inch loaf pan or other freezer-safe casserole dish. Freeze a minimum of 4 hours. I prefer to freeze at least 6 hours.

For peach ice cream, fold in 12 ounces or 1 1/2 cups chopped frozen peaches (drain well before chopping)

* if using the bean, heat vanilla bean with the 1/2 cup of whole milk in the microwave (half power) or on the stovetop over low heat until hot. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand 15 minutes. scrape seeds from the bean into milk. Discard bean. Pour milk into a medium sized bowl and let cool.
