GAME INFORMATION:
To be born with wings...
Become a F-14 Naval Aviator undergoing seek and destroy missions while dodging and gunning enemy bogeys in deadly dogfights with your 20mm cannon and air-to-air missiles.
Your cockpit comes with state of the art technology, courtesy of the U.S. Air Force: Display and main computer, Bogey Alert Indicator, G-Force Indicator, Electronic Counter Measures, and a Cannon Overheat Indicator (yes, it can overheat!)...and if your feeling up to it, give the ol'bird a boost to Mach 1.0!
The gameplay like other simulation games consists of taking off, flying, combat and landing. Though most of the gameplay focuses around dogfighting with enemy bogeys (dodging missiles). In addition to that, there are also night-flying missions that add difficulty due to limited vision.
Taking off and landing however, also requires additional skill as your doing it on the USS Enterprise (No relation to Star Trek), not on your standard airstrip. Pay attention to the F.D. officer as your preparing to take off (since he's the boss when it comes to this stuff...and try not to run over him...yet).
Your weaponry consists of a M 61 Machine Gun and 3 different AIM Missiles (AIM 7, 9, 54) each packed with 15 missiles (that's a lot of missiles!).
After each mission you will receive a Mission Rating which is based on your flying skill, number of bogey kill and number of weapons fired.

GAME INFORMATION:
Star Ship is a first-person space combat simulator video game designed by Bob Whitehead and published by Atari, Inc. for the Atari Video Computer System (Atari VCS). The game was one of the launch titles offered when the Atari VCS. The game has the player in a first-person perspective of a space ship, where can play a few variations of games that either involve shooting enemy space objects while avoiding asteroids, aiming at a second ship controlled by a player, trying to travel as fast through space within a time limit, or have a lunar lander craft land on a moon that is actively trying to avoid the player.
The game was Whitehead's first game for the system after being hired in January 1977. The game was based on the Atari arcade game Starship 1 (1977) as Whitehead was encouraged to make games that were adaptations of Atari's arcade line-up. The game received middling reviews from Video and Creative Computing. Atari officially stopped releasing the game in mid-1980.

GAME INFORMATION:
Starmaster is a space combat simulation video game written for the Atari 2600 by Alan Miller and published in June 1982 by Activision. The game involves the player travelling through space attacking enemy starfighters who are invading starbases. The player traverses through a map called the galactic chart to destroy all the enemies and survive against oncoming enemy attacks and crashing with meteors.
Miller had previously worked for Atari, Inc. developing games for the Atari 2600 before forming Activision with David Crane and making games Checkers (1980), Tennis (1981) and Ice Hockey (1981). Miller described Starmaster as being influenced by Cosmic Conflict (1978) for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 and Star Raiders (1980) for the Atari 8-bit computers.
The game became Miller's most successful game at that point in his career and would receive positive reviews from publications such as Electronic Games, The Video Game Update and The Fresno Bee. In 1983, at the Fourth Annual Arcade Awards, along with Atlantis (1982) it won a "Certificate of Merit" in the "Videogame of the Year" category.

GAME INFORMATION:
Star Raiders is a space combat simulator video game created by Doug Neubauer and published in 1980 by Atari, Inc. Originally released for the Atari 400/800 computers, Star Raiders was later ported to the Atari 2600, Atari 5200, and Atari ST. The player assumes the role of a starship fighter pilot, who must protect starbases from invading forces called Zylons. Piloting and combat are shown in the 3D cockpit view, while a 2D galactic map shows the state of the Zylon invasion. Neubauer made the game in his spare time at Atari, inspired by contemporary media such as Battlestar Galactica and Star Wars, as well as the 1971 mainframe game Star Trek.
Star Raiders became one of the most successful games on Atari's 400 and 800 computers, and their first killer app. It influenced space combat games such as Elite (1984) and Wing Commander (1990), as well as spawning an official sequel and a 2011 remake. Star Raiders was included in a list of ten games that were submitted as a game canon to the Library of Congress in 2007.

Exidy promoted Crossbow to arcade operators as being convertible to new themes released in the future. Five themed conversion kits were created, each commencing with the letter 'c': Cheyenne, Combat, Crackshot, Clay Pigeon, and the controversial Chiller. Several more games were also released for the system: Hit 'n Miss, Showdown, Top Secret, and Who Dunnit.

Star Fire is a first-person arcade coin-operated space combat video game created by Technical Magic for Midway-Bally and licensed for manufacture to Exidy in December 1978. It was distributed in Japan by Taito and Esco Trading in 1979. Designed by Ted Michon and David Rolfe and inspired by the film Star Wars, the game is not based on a licensed property.
Star Fire was a major success for Exidy, and became the first arcade video game to use an enclosed sit-down cockpit cabinet, the first to allow a highest scoring player to enter their initials in a high score table, and one of the first to be built on a reprogrammable microprocessor based game system with full screen color graphics. It was followed by an updated version, Star Fire II, with fixes. It was then ported by Epyx to Commodore 64 and Atari 8-bit computers in a bundle with Fire One, another Exidy game.

GAME INFORMATION:
Alien Breed 3D is a first-person shooter developed for Amiga by Team17 and distributed by Ocean Software in 1995. It is the fourth installment in Alien Breed franchise, a series of science fiction-themed shooters.
In this game, the world is viewed from a first-person view, rather than from a top-down perspective like its predecessors. Set on a fictional planet, the player's character, Captain J. T. Reynolds, enters a military base that has been overrun by a genetically engineered breed of aliens, which have escaped the base's laboratory, killing everyone there but Reynolds. While venturing across various sites of the base as he seeks a means of escape, he is forced to fend off the aliens on his own for his survival, using a range of weaponry at his disposal.
Team17 initially conceived of a three-dimensional Alien Breed game for DOS computers only, but ruled out the idea in the wake of id Software's new first-person shooter, Doom. It was brought to fruition when Andy Clitheroe, a mathematics student from the University of York, demonstrated a demo of his 3D engine running on an Amiga computer. Clitheroe became the project's sole programmer, and was not joined by anyone involved in the previous Alien Breed games. Only one person, composer Bjørn Lynne, had any prior involvement in a Team17 project.
The game was released to a generally favorable reception, with some reviewers regarding it as the best "Doom clone" for the Amiga, although reactions to its departure from the Alien Breed series' style of gameplay by fans were ambivalent. Critics praised the game's atmosphere and level architecture, in particular the inclusion of layered stories and underwater areas, although the graphics were criticized for appearing pixelated, as was the lack of automap. The game's two-player deathmatch garnered mixed appraisals. The game was followed by a sequel, Alien Breed 3D II: The Killing Grounds, in 1996.

It includes a split-screen multiplayer mode where up to four players can compete in different types of deathmatch and objective-based games.
The game runs on an engine that was adapted to take advantage of the Nintendo 64 strengths. Although Eurocom used original production material to recreate the environments of the film, the company added elements to help the game design, including a mission that takes place in the London Underground. The game supports the Nintendo 64 Expansion Pak, which provides enhanced graphics and visual effects. A Controller Pak is required to save the player's progress through the game.
The World Is Not Enough received generally positive reviews from critics and was frequently compared to Rare's Nintendo 64 first-person shooters GoldenEye 007 and Perfect Dark. It was considered superior to its PlayStation counterpart because of its level design and inclusion of a multiplayer mode. Critics generally praised the game's graphics and smooth frame rate but criticized its weak and inconsistent enemy artificial intelligence. In the United States, the game sold more than one million copies.

GAME INFORMATION:
As the name implies, 3D Galax takes the Space Invaders/Galaxian concept into the third dimension. Seen from a first-person cockpit perspective and utilizing flat-shaded polygonal graphics, waves of aliens advance towards the player and must be destroyed with a laser cannon. Unlike in the originals, the aliens never shoot back: the only danger they pose is that of crashing into the player. If any aliens from a wave survive an attack run by not being destroyed before they pass the player, they will try again and again, until either the entire wave or the player is destroyed. The alien formations change every four waves, but not before a bonus stage involving navigating an asteroid field is passed.
