LEVEL #5. The PRINCESS and The PEA. by H.C. Andersen. Speed Reading for 3, 4, 5 and 6-Year-Old Kids.
LEVEL 5: SPEED READING FOR 3, 4, 5, and 6-YEAR-OLD KIDS.
WHY SPEED READING IS IMPERATIVE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN IN OUR MODERN WORLD
In recent times, many places in the world have gone through natural disasters, pandemics, recessions/depressions and/or political crises. Even schools have been shut down in many of these scenarios.
There’s no reason why your children can’t energize their education simply because you are unemployed, your neighbors are stressed out, or the local school is shuttered by a modern illness outbreak, or during a local or regional disaster-like situation.
No school has a monopoly on real education.
You, as the parent, need to take charge, if you don’t want your children’s futures ruined by “circumstances beyond your control.”
There are always educational opportunities wherever you are, no matter what your situation, and no matter what your child’s age.
And you can’t predict how young your children will be when a crisis will hit. So, the best thing you can do to help prepare your children for the future is to teach them the following two skills AT THE YOUNGEST AGE POSSIBLE (ie. beginning at about the age of 2):
1. Teach them to read, beginning at the age of two. [BrillKids.com, The Glenn Doman method and ChildrenLearningReading.org are three methods, but there are others, as well])
2. Then, teach them to Speed Read, beginning at the age of about three.
Teaching 3, 4, 5 or 6 year-olds to Speed Read is actually quite simple. It’s risk-free. (And it’s virtually cost-free, too). You see, you aren’t going to force your kids to learn anything. All you will do, is to SHOW them a familiar story — in a particular way, for about one minute per day.
That’s all.
And you will do this for a few days. (Be sure to do this in a way that is perceived as FUN by your child).
And that’s it.
If your child is interested, and jumps at the opportunity, then you’ll get a Natural Speed Reader out of it. BUT, if your child isn’t interested, he/she may not do anything about it, but he/she will still love you as much as always.
Here at THE SPEED READING CHANNEL, we have created a series of YouTube videos with the purpose of helping parents show their young pre-schoolers (ie, 3, 4, 5 and 6 year-olds who already know how to read) the concept of reading groups of words at a time (instead of just reading one-word-at-a-time). This is the key fundamental difference between Speed Reading and Slow Reading.
LEVEL 1 videos are for the beginners. They display one word-at-a-time. Some videos display each frame at a faster rate than others.
LEVEL 8 videos are the most advanced in this series, and show 25 words per frame. That’s up to about 1,500 words per minute or more (depending on page/frame rate). Once young pre-school children have figured out how to Speed Read 600 wpm on their own, many of them will be able to press forward at much faster rates on their own, without any coaching.
Following are links to examples of videos on each of the 8 LEVELS:

Q’s & A’s
Q. What if School is out for many months?
A. Then these little videos will work out all the better for you and your children. While other children are forgetting everything they have learned, your children will have gained a key skill which will enable them to learn boatloads more in the few rare opportunities that may become momentarily available, or from a flash drive full of e-books that you may have downloaded from Gutenberg.org, than anybody would have learned in any typical classroom. Your child will be enabled to be more efficient at pulling a real education out of the daily circumstances of life, even if things turn out very differently than anticipated.
You have nothing to lose.
Q. My life is very busy right now. I really wish I had the time to do something like this.
A. It only takes about a minute or two per day. Your child will do all the processing in his/her brain. It’s really pretty easy.
We need our little ones to get an excellent education despite any difficulties or hardships that may prevail around us. Speed Reading is a key skill in our modern environment that will enable our young children to pave the way to an amazing future.
