Aerid is a scorching desert world with endless sand dune seas. The Aeridians are devout in their faith, believing all the events that led to the abandoning of Earth, the Lost Ark, and the new colonies is divine providence.

Their religious order mimics ancient Roman Catholic traditions and hierarchies. The Aeridian sense of justice is swift and severe. Their alliance with the other FSA worlds is tenuous at best, as they stayed neutral until witnessing the devastation and corruption of the Keshites - to which they have sworn to eradicate from existence.

The sun-scorched world and radical dust storms have honed the Aeridians into unshakeable disciples of their faith. They prefer the universal power of fire to purge their enemies.

Tarn and Telek tolerate Aerid as a necessary evil that may become a potential problem in the future. For now, however, they remain allies in fighting the NGO.
