Who is the Devil in the Bible?

The concept of “Judeo-Christian Western civilization” is an oxymoron, since neither Romans (the West) nor Israelites considered “barbarians” (“Gog and Magog”) to be Western, Judeo-Christian or civilized. Rome persecuted Christians and barbarians sacked Rome. Judeo-Christian civilization is the culture and heritage of people from the Middle East and North Africa (the biblical world) who are the original Jews and Christians and mostly Muslims today. Muhammad cannot legally be the False Prophet or Messiah, since he affirms the God of Moses and the patriarchs (Qur’an 2:133), does not contradict the Law and Prophets (Deuteronomy 18:20) and defends them against criminal accusations (e.g., 1 Kings 11:4-9 & Qur’an 2:102). The alternative hypothesis is that King David is Satan (2 Samuel 11 & Sotah 9b:2) or the father of God. Moreover, Muhammad is not an Israelite and never claimed to be. As such, neither he nor his successors (caliphs) can be the Messiah or, eo ipso, the False Messiah. The False Messiah must claim to be a legitimate successor of King David, like the Roman pontiff (aka the pope) or the Lubavitcher Rebbe. The Bible speaks of the caliphate of Ishmael (Genesis 17:20) whose capital is Damascus, where the Messiah will appear (Sifrei Devarim 1:19 & Abu Dawud 39:31). Muhammad predicted that his successor, the Mahdi, will help the Palestinian Messiah (Muslim 1:300). According to the biblical narrative, the Messiah, like Joseph, will be sold to Ishmaelites. Like Joseph, he appeared to have been killed; however, those who claimed to have killed him lied about it (Sanhedrin 43a, Matthew 27:32-66 & Qur’an 4:157). Rather, his succession endures in Palestine. In the meantime, the Islamic canon indicates that followers of the False Messiah worship the Bronze Snake (John 3:14) that the Messiah will destroy (Muslim 1:294; cp. 2 Kings 18:4 & Sanhedrin 99a:3). Note that if Kings David and Solomon existed and had thousands of kids as the Bible claims, then most Palestinians (Judeans) who never left the country and have nowhere to go must be their descendants. They would also be the purest Judeans, as they intermarry while being ethnically cleansed with a double entendre (Ezra 9:2).
