Recently, I watched two movies that are not really that old. One was made in 2007 and the other about 10 years later.

However, the first movie from 2007 seemed to show a supermarket that had products I had never seen before in it. This was kind of amazing, considering it was only 18 years ago. Surely, I should be able to identify most of the brands in the store, but I could not.

In the other movie, we see a signal come through many cell phones and then everything seems to change almost instantly. Could we be seeing a slow motion version of this today?

The first movie stars Thomas Jane and was one of his big roles.

The second movie stars Samuel L Jackson and I think was one of his most interesting roles.
