To boil it down, trees don't care about what you want, need, like, or want. If you don't put their needs before yours, you get a dying or dead tree. Period. You plant a tree that doesn't like hot, dry conditions, it won't survive hot, dry conditions. And you or your company or municipality end up with another tree failure like this.
