5 Minutes on Faith: God Always Does Great Things! #192

Psalm 126:3 “The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.”

Think about that verse and take some time to recall the delightful and simple, unexpected things God does in our lives, seemingly out of the blue, as an answer to our prayers.

I have a story to share: Over the last 28 years since I have been walking with purpose with the LORD, I have been praying for several people who were quite impactful in my life. Whenever their name or face comes across my mind, I thank the LORD for their devotion and contribution to my life and pray for divine protection over their lives. I also ask for an opportunity to be reunited in some way.

Yesterday, while engaged in sharing encouragement to women in a Facebook group, I suddenly received a lovely message from someone I did not immediately recall. I knew that I knew her from a company where we worked together in Albuquerque, NM in 1984-1985. Because her last was different so it took me a minute to connect the dots. Suddenly 41 years of not being in contact immediately melted and there she was on messenger.

I cannot describe the leap of joy in my heart and how delighted I am to be reconnected.

We never know when our answers will come but rest in knowing this: GOD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL!

1 Thes 1:2 “We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers.”
