ICE arrests 11 Iranian nationals in 48 hours

In a recent immigration crackdown, U.S. federal agents arrested 11 Iranian nationals over 48 hours across eight states, including individuals with suspected ties to terrorist groups like Hezbollah and Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.

One detainee was on the U.S. terror watchlist, and several had prior criminal convictions.

ICE also arrested a U.S. citizen for allegedly threatening to shoot officers and harboring an illegal immigrant.

While no specific terror plots have been linked to the arrests, officials say the individuals pose a public safety risk, CBS News has reported.

The operations follow heightened U.S.-Iran tensions and a broader push by the Trump administration to ramp up immigration enforcement.
