Order No. 44: Antimatter Bomb Delivery: Mountain Knot City:
After braving treacherous terrain across the snowy peaks of the Central Region, Sam is tasked with delivering a dangerously unstable antimatter bomb to Mountain Knot City. The mission is tense—any water exposure or sudden shock could detonate the payload, wiping out everything in the vicinity. Sam successfully transports the bomb to Lockne, Mama's twin sister and the regional network engineer at the Weather Station. However, Lockne—bitter and distrustful of Bridges—reacts with cold suspicion, interpreting the bomb delivery as a veiled threat rather than a peace offering. She refuses to connect her facility to the UCA, forcing Sam to find another way to earn her trust. The mission concludes with mounting tension, setting the stage for a more personal task—one that may be the only hope of convincing Lockne to rejoin the fractured nation.

Order No. 46: Mama Delivery: Mountain Knot City:
Following a heartbreaking sequence in which Mama (Malingen) reveals her tether to the world—her stillborn BT daughter—Sam helps her sever the unnatural bond in an emotional farewell. Now free but weakened, Mama reunites with her estranged twin sister, Lockne, at the Mountain Knot City Weather Station. Sam then physically carries Mama through snowstorms and rough terrain on foot to Mountain Knot City in one of the game’s most intimate and personal deliveries. During the journey, Mama and Sam share candid, reflective moments about the pain of loss, the power of connection, and the sacrifices required to rebuild society. Upon arrival, Mama and Lockne reconcile in a moving cutscene that culminates in Lockne agreeing to reconnect Mountain Knot City to the Chiral Network.

After resting in his private room, Sam is visited by Deadman, who arrives with disturbing news: Sam's BB, Lou, has entered a critical state and may need to be returned to the lab. This intimate scene reveals just how deeply Sam has bonded with Lou, despite originally viewing the BB as equipment. As the camera lingers on Sam’s silent anguish and Deadman’s clinical concern, the emotional weight sets the tone for the dark and uncertain road ahead in Episode 6: Deadman.
