Important section and especially 2:28-29 which is one of the FIVE major passages used to say the Church is Israel or the Church has replaced Israel or the Church is an extension of Israel or the Church is spiritual Israel. All these views differ and are nuanced but present in current theology. A lot of them are shouting very loudly against Trump’s military support of Israel against Iran this week.
