Flagler County, Florida – On 01/20/2024, police received a civil complaint from dispatch communications and contacted the reporting party. Upon speaking with the complainant, she advised that her ex-boyfriend came to her residence and took two of her dogs. The matter appeared to be civil, as she claimed to have given him permission to take the dogs from the residence in the past. The call was disconnected after the caller would not accept that there were no criminal charges, and then proceeded to call 911 six more times. Police responded to her residence, where she was still on the phone with 911, and became extremely uncooperative and vulgar. Multiple attempts were made to explain how she could handle the situation civilly and how she was tying up emergency services with her calls. After the situation continued to escalate and go nowhere, police began to leave the property when they heard the female throwing rocks at them, passing by their feet. She was subsequently arrested for assault on law enforcement, resisting without violence, and misuse of 911.
