There are many misconceptions about what is means to be sex trafficking victim. In her talk, Elizabeth helps to dispel the preconceived notions we may have as well as give a larger picture for what it looks like to be trafficked within our own community, and what we can do to help end this calamity.

As a volunteer at the local domestic violence shelter, Elizabeth Finn noticed a big gap: they didn't have any services for victims of human trafficking. Now as a staff member, Elizabeth works as the founder and director of human trafficking prevention. She has worked with many survivors in the local community and works to connect them to resources and to help them escape the snare of this underground industry.
