Dear Pastor Bob: It seems okay to talk about alcoholism, drug addiction, and even being a virgin. But when it comes to sexual abuse you have to remain silent and ashamed. I can’t even imagine what it would be like for those who are being trafficked. All Biblical truth seems to go out the window when you talk about sexual abuse. Jesus came to set us free from everything and bring it to light. The only way to be set free is to accept what happened in the past.
