Do You Feel Like We Do by Peter Frampton ~ Becoming the Chosen by Casting Thy Net to the Right

Do You Feel Like We Do was the Final Song on Peter Frampton's Groundbreaking LIVE Album, Frampton Comes Alive, from 1976, considered to be one of the Best Live Albums ever released, and one of the best selling Live albums of all time...

The Album was collection of Frampton's Song's of Faith and Journey to God, thru the Way of Christ, and these Christic References were Everywhere in songs like Something's Happening, Show Me the Way, All I Want to Be (Is by Your Side), Winds of Change, Baby I Love Your Way, I Wanna Go to the Sun/Son, Penny For Your Thoughts, Shine On, Lines on your Face, and this Song, Do You Feel Like We Do...

And what helped to make this album so very, very special, besides the fact that Frampton's Extensive Touring, turned his Touring Band into one of the Best Live Bands in the World, was the addition of Frampton's 'Talk Box', which was used to run Words thru a Different Frequency and Vibration, and thus, Ultimately, Frampton was Abel to use it as the Voice of Christ Yeshua, or God Himself, during the album, especially on, Do You Feel Like We Do...

And in this Song, notice how almost All of the Chorus' are sung as 'Do You Feel Like EYE Do', instead of 'We Do', as in the Song's Title...and this is because Frampton wanted to try and make the song as Understandable and Relatable as possible, that it was about Coming to the Kingdom of God, which IS the Single Eye of God, which as Christ taught us is WITHIN US, thru Meditation, Stillness and Silence, so that in time the 'Voice' of God begins to COMMUNE with us, which is Mimicked within the Musical Structure of the Song...

The first part of the Song, was the Verses of Chaos in People's Lives, as they were Seeking for Happiness and Love in All the Wrong Places and Things, which is why the Chorus' were about Feeling like EYE Do, and becoming part of the Chosen Ones, as Peter Frampton is, by Doing the Inner Spiritual Work to Come to Know Father Heaven, Deep Within Us...

So, after the first section, the Song drops its Cadence and becomes a much Slower, Calm, Still and 'Silent' portion of the Song, which is designed to mimic the Process of Turning Away from the Chaos of the 'Out There' World, by going Within thyself, via Meditation...and after 90 Divine Seconds of this 'Work' to Still and Silence the Song and the Mind, THEN, the 'Voice' of God suddenly appears in the form of Frampton's 'Talk Box' design, where God Communes with us during the Song, via HIS Frequency and Vibration, inviting us IN, by unveiling to us to Let God, Surrender, and Cast our Nets to the Right Side of our Vessels in the pursuit of Righteousness in Life! This entire Section within the Song is one of the most famous Musical passages in Roll the Rock History and for many people, like myself, has remained an Iconic Memory within, that Never fully recedes or disappears...

Then, as Frampton Comes Away from the Talk Box, the Musical Cadence of the Song shifts back to Pure, Enlightened Energy, and a much Stronger, Faster Musical Pulse that comes the Outro to the Song, which mimics what happens to anyone who Goes Within and Communes with God, as we are Charged with LIFE, as that is what God is, The God of the Living and NOT of the Dead, and for this reason, Frampton named the Album, Frampton Comes ALIVE, as it was a Concert of Praise, Worship and Surrender to the Good Father Inside of each and Everyone of us...

And Remember, the length of this song on the First Pressing of Frampton Comes Alive was 14 minutes and 24 seconds...24 seconds is 40% of a minute, thus, the time for the song was 14.40 or 144, The Chosen...
