John Carpay, a Netherlands-born Canadian lawyer, founded the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) in 2010 and serves as its president, advocating for libertarian principles and defending Canadians’ constitutional rights through litigation and education. Holding a B.A. in Political Science from Université Laval and an LL.B. from the University of Calgary, he has championed cases supporting free expression, equality, and individual freedoms, including legal challenges related to the Freedom Convoy and COVID-19 restrictions.
