The Point of these Georgetown Set posts is it was these ivy league progressives who fancied themselves as Cold Warriors (after being denounced by McCarthy as communists) and ran the anti-communist ops and wars which was basically just imperialism.
From what I can piece together, when McCarthy called them communists, Wisner's ace up his sleeve was Operation Mockingbird and they ruined McCarthy with it. Alternatively, J Edgar Hoover who was leaking McCarthy the names to accuse, may have set him up for the fall after McCarthy broke their agreement and revealed Hoover as his source.

The point is there was no war on communism, communism in Russia was an experiment run by our own govt and the people behind it, sending tech, sending info, building factories and farms, it was the Bonesmen/Illuminati. A JBS series on YT says they were the real face behind the mask of communism and before the Jacobinism (French Revolution). So the Cold War was this thing where they'd prop up one side and use it to pull money out of the other side, back and forth until the USSR collapsed.
