Forest Escape New Metal Building Soon Part 2 the Concrete Floor is a Reality with New Contractor
In the forest escape we are getting closer to having the 30 feet wide by 30 feet long metal building! Part 2 is about the concrete floor. The initial contractor had an issue with the concrete sitting in the truck too long waiting for more gravel to come and then setting up - and it was 92F. That concrete had to be torn out. The second contractor completed the site and the forms one day - and then in the middle of the night they poured the concrete! It was 20 degrees cooler that way, also. The crew was energetic and did a great job - each man has a different job until they start pouring. Then it is all about working the concrete - and men driving concrete buggies delivering the material to the top of the hill, getting it from the concrete mixer truck in the valley below. The result is a brushed floor on the lean out area of the building and a slick floor in the main part of the garage. We are excited for part 3 the assembly of the metal building. We are in the schedule now!
