Winter Steele was a puppet television series that aired on MTV as a segment of Liquid Television during its first two seasons, from 1991 to 1993.
The series was created by Cintra Wilson, who wrote the series, created the puppets, provided the voice of the main character, and even did some live action body double work.
Winter Steele is depicted as a female biker who is in hot pursuit of her childhood friend, lover, and sometime nemesis, David "Crow" Dickerson, himself a biker.
The two met as children in a repressive orphanage and bonded. After being separated, they vowed to find each other, with Winter criss-crossing the land on a motorcycle.

Winter Steele appeared as a recurring segment on Liquid Television, with specific episodes including "Winter Steele: Eat Crow"
and "Winter Steele, Episode #5: All Men Suck (Except Crow)".
The segment was part of the show's experimental and surreal style, which featured both serialized and one-off segments.
Some of the segments from Liquid Television later became series of their own, including Beavis and Butt-Head and Æon Flux.
