Effective Air Defense Against Enemy Drones: Tor-M1 Systems in Action

Servicemen of the TOR-M1 anti-aircraft missile system crew from the Center group of forces have been providing crucial air cover for Russian positions against enemy reconnaissance UAVs in the Krasnoarmeysk direction.

Operating around the clock, the Tor-M1 crew monitors the airspace to detect and track potential threats. Upon identifying enemy drones, they swiftly engage with anti-aircraft guided missiles, maintaining control over target destruction through an advanced visual control system.

Thanks to their precision and efficiency, the crew routinely shoots down dozens of enemy drones daily. Recently, they intercepted a Ukrainian "Shark UAV," successfully downing it at an altitude of 1,000 meters. The wreckage was recovered for analysis, further enhancing their operational effectiveness.

The Tor-M1 systems excel in targeting, capable of eliminating up to eight enemy air threats per ammunition set while ensuring the safety of friendly aircraft through automated detection radar.

During the special military operation, Tor SAM units remain on constant combat duty at the front lines, safeguarding ground forces and preserving the combat readiness of motorized rifle, tank, and artillery units against aerial threats.
