The Cook Inlet just a few miles down the arm. The mountains are from the Kenai Peninsula. So close... yet so far away. First... a beautiful drive down to the K.P.
You can take a plane to the K.P. from Atown.. approx 30 min flt. The drive is completely worth it. Not especially driving this journey weekly for years or a "Burn & Turn" run to the airport in Atown and back to the K.P. Approximately, 3+ hours at required speed limits. Safety first..🤣
Its the ONLY way down to the Kenai. AND... the only road out as well. Its truly "Gods Backyard." I marvel at this amazing drive, every single time. You can see Gods fingerprints everywhere in all seasons and its never the same view. Breathtaking doesn't describe it. the following videos are all in sequence.. I hope. This would be video 2.
