"While the ceasefire between Iran and Israel seems to be holding, we say: all eyes on Gaza. We call on all New Yorkers to take to the streets, as Gaza is still facing US-Israeli imposed starvation, daily bombardment, brutal massacres, and mass displacement. It is well-past time for a ceasefire in Gaza too, to end all US aid to Israel, and to lift the siege on Gaza.

The ceasefire in Iran was possible because of the weight of public opinion and the pressure of massive anti-war mobilizations across the country. Without this, the war mongers in the White House would have carpet bombed the entire region and dragged the US into another endless war. When it comes to Gaza, the US has made it clear that it would rather facilitate a genocide than reflect the will of the majority and facilitate a ceasefire.
