BAD MOON WAXING

Last evening when I was out in the front yard with the dogs, I was watching the fireflies throughout the yard and the neighborhood. As I was looking to the left at more fireflies in a neighbor's yard, something very peculiar caught my attention. I always enjoy gazing at the moon on a clear evening when the sky is clear, but the moon was WRONG. The moon is waxing crescent right now, which means it would be a crescent on the right side of the moon. What I saw however was the crescent on the lower right side, like one point at the middle right, and the bottom point at the bottom of the moon.
Instead of trying to explain it, please watch the video. I have inserted a moon phases image so you can see how the moon phases are SUPPOSED to be. Lately it's all haywire. A few weeks ago the waning crescent looked like a smile with the crescent across the bottom. THAT IS SO MESSED UP. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE MOON?
