25 Years of American Decay: Mechanisms of Wealth Transfer

In this video, we’ll investigate the ruination of the American middle class-American Carnage. We’ll explore some of the mechanisms of wealth transfer; the means by which vast sums of money were pumped from the American middle classes—the many—into the hands of a few. Beginning with the deindustrialization that occurred after the year 2000, we’ll move through the past decades exploring the various crises that have resulted in America’s eye-wateringly high levels of debt along with its now record high wealth inequality.
