Giatsint-S Crew Obliterates Ukrainian Stronghold in Krasnoarmeysk Direction

Servicemen of the 2S5 Giatsint-S self-propelled gun crew of the Center group of forces destroyed a camouflaged stronghold and mortar crew of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnoarmeysk direction of the Special Operation zone. The intelligence for the strike was obtained from drone operators, who identified the exact location of enemy targets camouflaged in a forest belt and part of a powerful fortified enemy area. The artillerymen aimed the gun at the target and fired a series of 152-mm shells, completely destroying the stronghold and mortar point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The target was hit and destroyed by drone crews.

Special attention during the combat mission was paid to camouflage and countering enemy drones. The air surveillance post servicemen visually monitored the situation around the gun for the appearance of enemy drones. After successfully hitting the target, the crew camouflaged the gun and took cover in the dugout. Such actions minimize the risk of enemy air reconnaissance detecting the firing position and protect the crew from a retaliatory strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The crews of the Giatsint-S self-propelled guns of the Center group of forces carry out daily fire missions to support the actions of assault units, destroy various enemy targets, and also carry out counter-battery operations.
