THE NEPHILIM - What everyone should know...

There were Nephilim on the earth in those days and also after that when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men and bear children to them. The same were the Mighty Men of old the men of renown Genesis 6 verse 4.

Genesis 6: 1-7 are some of the most enigmatic verses in the Old Testament. These verses refer to the fact that there actually Giants living on the earth at the time before the great flood.

Nephilim were offspring of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men" before the Deluge according to Genesis 6:4; the name is also used about giants who inhabited Canaan at the time of the Israelite conquest of Canaan according to Numbers 13:33. A similar biblical Hebrew word with different vowel-sounds is used in Ezekiel 32:27 to refer to dead Philistine warriors.
