The Philippine Army seems to be intentionally less prominently displaying their AK-47-type Assault Rifles now

About a Year or so ago, several Units of the Philippine Army (PA) prominently displayed their AK-47 type Assault Rifles (AR) in several Posts of theirs on Social Media, and in fact I went out and made Videos of them.

You can still find some of those Videos on my Social Media Accounts. However, since then I haven’t seen them show Display much of those Rifles again.

Recently though, I saw some Pictures which made me think that the PA might be intentionally sort of hiding their AKs for some Reason, this was when one Unit prominently displayed their Remington R4 ARs in front, but the AKs were being relegated to the back of their Squad Lines.

In some Pictures you could see only the Wooden Buttstock of the AKs, and in some the AKs themselves, as you can see from the Pictures. I’m not sure why the PA is doing this, I understand of course that it is not the PA’s primary or most numerous Rifle, that distinction belongs to the made in the United States (US)’ R4s.

But still, since they did put those AKs into service then I think they should’ve displayed those on equal footing with the R4s also.

Here is the Source of the original Pictures, it is on the “1st Field Artillery "Beat 'Em" Battalion, AAR, PA” Facebook Page: https://web.facebook.com/team1fab/posts/pfbid02EA664L2ZzFkD5A2oA8kVUAF2Zxt3xEYynVcVKDSv5QbynyQ3WC4tkDtyRRYb9JR4l
