I sometimes wonder if President Trump is playing 4D chess.

Two days after Trump posted a tweet seeming to support regime change, punctuated with the note, "MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN! MIGA!" — confusing his base — he made clear on Air Force One that he has no desire for regime change in Iran (a position consistent with his years-long anti-war stance).

Was Trump's tweet actually a psyop on Khamanei — a hint that his rule would be in danger if he failed to agree to a ceasefire, just hours after the U.S. flew unnoticed into Iranian airspace, destroyed their nuclear sites with impressive military precision and coordination, and left without a single shot fired — all while Iran was asleep?

What's more, in a prior tweet, Trump said he knew where Khamanei was hiding — making clear to Iran's ruler that the U.S. could just as easily sneak in in the dead of night, take him out with a single strike, and leave without a trace.

Within 24 hours, a cease fire was reached between Iran and Israel. While both sides briefly breached it, they've now agreed to hold off on further strikes.
