So You Want Revival? Really??????

This is for all of the #pentecostales #Evangelicals #pastors and others who constantly talk and post about wanting to see a Revival. The problem is that you don't really want a Revival, a Move of God. Because a real one would look the exact opposite of what you say you are looking for.

Revival is not about getting thousands of people who already claim to be Christians to gather in your building night after night after night getting their emotions and adrenaline stirred up and listening to a preacher, while giving you buckets of money. But that is how Revival is defined by so many of these people. No, Revival, which by the way is never mentioned or even contemplated in the New Testament, would look very different.

For God, a true Move would mean bringing in the drug addicts, the homeless, the mentally ill, the LGBTQ+, the sexually immoral, the poor, and so many more that most churches want nothing to do with. If you truly wanted to see a Revival happening in America, you would not be focused on building political power and forcing others to live according to your supposed moral values. It would be about showing those who are nothing like you and your friends that you love and welcome them just the way they are.

So, you want Revival? Really??? Then why are you not doing the things that led a group of ragtag mostly illiterate societal outcasts to turn the whole world upside down for Jesus? They went out among the worst of the worst and simply loved them the way they were. They showed people that the Religious wanted nothing to do with that Jesus died for them. If you truly wanted to see what you call Revival, you would be doing the same thing. Instead, you sit in your church buildings surrounded by people just like you and ignore and reject the rest.

This message came to me on this Saturday morning as a Vision from God. As you watch this short message, please think seriously about what it would truly take to see God move in this terrible time we are living in.
