Tornadoes Confirmed: Several tornadoes have been reported in and around the Twin Cities metro late Saturday into early Sunday, including near Canby, Waconia, St. Bonifacius, Victoria, and Cologne—totaling at least five Doppler-confirmed tornadoes in Carver County alone.

Warnings Issued: Multiple tornado warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings were in effect for areas including Hennepin, Ramsey, Carver, and Scott counties through early Sunday morning.

Impact: The storms produced heavy rain, damaging winds (exceeding 60 mph), frequent lightning, and widespread power outages. Sirens sounded across metro-area neighborhoods.

Current Status: By around 2 a.m. local time, the storms had largely moved out of the metro. There have been reports of downed trees and blocked roads, but fortunately no immediate injuries reported.
