Sappers of the North Group of Troops Continue to Clear Mines from the Liberated Territory in the Kharkov Direction

Servicemen of the engineering and sapper unit of the 44th Army Corps of the North group of forces discovered and destroyed camouflaged explosive devices in the Kharkov direction.

During the engineering reconnaissance, military personnel found camouflaged discharges from the Ukrainian Armed Forces UAV. Experts caution that it is prohibited to approach the explosive element closer than one and a half meters, as it may contain a magnetic field change sensor. If it detects the presence of metal nearby, the munition will detonate. Therefore, a surface charge was attached to a wooden pole, which was then used to destroy the discharge.

It is not uncommon for sappers to find explosive objects in residential areas or abandoned buildings. On this occasion, a sapper scout discovered a homemade explosive device disguised as household garbage, which was also eliminated using a surface charge.
