This has been on my heart for a while. I’ve wanted to go live and share my story—what recovery has looked like for me over the last 20 years. I’ve put it off because this is personal, and honestly, it's not always easy to open up about the hard parts of the journey.

Let me be clear: I do not speak on behalf of Alcoholics Anonymous. I’m not here to represent AA in any official way. But I can say this—AA is where my recovery began. It gave me a foundation that helped me change my life.

Along the way, something even deeper happened. I gave my life to Jesus Christ, and that decision completely changed the direction of my recovery and my life. Faith became the anchor that kept me grounded when things were falling apart.
